Saturday Mornings with Socrates and Plato

A course of 8 lectures and discussions

Plato's Republic

How The Rulers Of A State Are To Be Educated

On Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm

In the Republic, Plato points out that because the structure of
the state reflects the structure of the individual, finding justice
at the level of the state, where it is 'writ large' will be easier
and help reveal it within the limits of the individual.

Then having found justice itself, the great opportunity
to live after its precepts and be happy, is available to all.
